Assistance Program: Assistance needed throughout the interview process to assist families facing temporary emergencies. No experience necessary. Training class and on-the-job training will be provided. Computer knowledge is needed and training will be provided.
Â
Building Services: MCDC has general maintenance projects in and around the building including painting, playground maintenance, office maintenance, etc.
Â
Development/Business Office: Office assistance will include scheduling appointments, follow-up phone calls, filing, mail processing, newspaper/church bulleting processing, etc.

Information Technology – IT: IT department needs data entry volunteers to work in the different clerical departments of MCDC. Training is provided.
Â
Food Pantry: Pantry volunteers will be participating in the pick-up and drop-off of any and all food donations, sorting food items/donations, stocking food items, packing grocery sacks/boxes for clients.
Â
Saturday/Sunday Volunteers: Volunteers will assist with scouting events that are hosted on weekends, and other events as planned.

Scout Project Volunteers:Â MCDC has opportunities available for volunteers to assist with Boy Scouts.
Â
Shelter and Energy Assistance: Volunteers will assist in the office area by filing, copying, computer processing, stocking inventory, receiving inventory, and other duties as needed.
Â
Special Holiday Projects: During the months of November and December volunteers will assist with the special holiday giving. Volunteers will assist with filing, processing, and the pick-up and drop-off of any and all food donations, sorting food items/donations, stocking food items, packing grocery sacks/boxes for clients.
Â
Sports: Volunteers will assist in any and all sporting events hosted during the spring and summer months of the year. Â Assistance will be needed in the kitchen, score keeping, cleaning, filing, copying, and contacting coaches and team players.
